Advisory notice for defending users' rights

In this page you find described the form of management of the site as far as the processing of personal data of its users is concerned. This advisory notice is supplied even in terms of art. 13 of Legislative Decree no. 196 of 30/06/2003, to those who interact with personal web services (even e-mail), that are or will be accessible by telecommunication means starting from the address: http://www.busti.it. This advisory notice is also based on Recommendation no. 2/2001, that the European authorities for personal data protection, united in a Group established in terms of art. 29 of Directive no. 95/46/EC, adopted on 17/05/2001 to identify the minimum requirements for on-line collection of personal data and, in particular, forms, time, and nature of the information to be supplied to the users by the owners of this processing, when they visit the web sites, irrespective of the reasons for visiting the sites. 

 

The data processing owner

Following consultation of this site and use of the e-mail with domain: busti.it, data relevant to identified or identifiable subjects can be processed. The “owner” of its processing is the Commune of Ospedaletti.

Place of data processing

Data processing connected with web services of this site takes place at the above-mentioned place and is overseen only by the technical staff of the Office in charge of processing, or by anyone in charge of occasional maintenance operations. No data derived from the web service is communicated or spread. Personal data supplied by users requesting any informative material is used for the only purpose of carrying out the required service or performance and is communicated to third parties just in case it is necessary for that purpose.

Kind of data processed

Web surfing data _ IT systems and software procedures aimed at operating this web site, acquire, during their normal use, some personal data whose transmission is implicit in the use of Internet communication protocols. This information is not collected in order to be associated with identified interested individuals, but could, for its own nature, by means of processing and association with data possessed by third parties, permit the identification of the users. This category of data includes IP addresses or domain names of the computers utilized by the users who visit the web site, URI (Uniform Resource Identifier) addresses of the requested resources, time of the request, method utilized for submitting the request to the server, size of the file received in reply, number code indicating the state of the reply given by the server (success, mistake, etc.), and other parameters relating to the user's operating system and IT environment. This data is used only for the purpose of collecting anonymous statistical information on the use of the web site and to check that it is operating correctly, and is cancelled immediately after being processed. Data could be used to ascertain the liability in case of any IT crimes against the site: except for this possibility, in the current state, data about web contacts is kept for no more than fifteen days. Data voluntarily supplied by the user _ Any optional, explicit, and voluntary e-mail sent to addresses indicated on this site enables the acquisition of the sender's address, necessary to answer the requests, and of the other data included in the mail. Specific summarizing information will be progressively reported or displayed on the web site pages predisposed for particular services on request (forum. guestbook).

Cookies

No personal data of the users is acquired by the site. One does not use cookies to transmit information of personal nature, nor are so-called persistent cookies of any kind used, nor systems for tracking users. Session cookies (which are not persistently stored on the user's computer and disappear when the browser is closed) are strictly used to transmit session identifiers (consisting of  numbers randomly generated by the server), necessary for a safe and efficient browsing of the site. Session cookies used by this site avoid using other IT techniques, that are potentially prejudicial to secrecy of users' surfing and do not allow acquisition of the user's personal identifying data.

Optional data submission

Apart from what has been specified for web surfing data, the user is free to supply the personal data reported on the request forms to the Guarantor or however indicated during contacts with the Office to press for information or other communications to be sent. Its failed submission may make it impossible to achieve what has been requested.

Processing systems

Personal data is processed with automatized devices just for the time strictly necessary to achieve the aim for which it has been collected. Specific safety measures are observed in order to prevent the loss of such data, its illegal or incorrect use and unauthorized access to it.

Interested users' rights

The subjects to whom such personal data refers, have the right to obtain at any time confirmation of the existence of such data and to know its content and origin, to verify its accuracy and to request its integration, updating or correction (art. 13 of Legislative Decree no. 196/2003). According to the same article, they have the right to request cancellation, transformation into anonymous form or blocking the data processed in violation of the law, and to oppose in any case, for legitimate reasons, to its processing. Requests should be addressed to the owner of the processing.
